Founding Charter
The purpose of the DEEP DRAFT LUBRICANT ASSOCIATION (DDLA)
shall be to promote the common interests of persons and
firms engaged in the delivery of petroleum lubricants to
Deep Draft vessels in the waters of the United States;
provide the maximum protection for the environment in
which they work; promote the professional and
educational advancement of those persons involved with
the industry; promote higher business standards and
improved business methods within the industry; promote
the interests of the industry by adopting high
performance standards and through the education of
persons and firms engaged in the industry, and bring
into communication with each other the people, firms,
agencies, and regulatory bodies engaged in the industry
in the United State of America.
